The Mission of the Assistant County Manager is to provide executive level support to the County Manager, Board of Supervisors, and other Elected and appointed officials so that Pinal County citizens can benefit from effective and efficient county services.

The Assistant County Manager actively supports the goals of the County Manager and Board of Supervisors by researching innovative financial opportunities, allocating those resources appropriately through the budgetary process, thus enabling county departments to respond and fulfill the various needs of county residents. The Assistant County Manager provides executive management leadership and direction over the following departments and functions: Finance , Housing , Human Resources , Information Technology and Telecommunications , Library District , Office of Management & Budget, Public Defender , Public Fiduciary , and Public Health (Correctional Health, Environmental Health, Medical Examiner).
