FLORENCE, AZ (10/7/2013) – Today, Pinal County Attorney Lando Voyles announced a trial date of December 16, 2013 for Diane Archer, 55 of Casa Grande, as she faces three felony counts and one misdemeanor related to an alleged incident of domestic violence.

According to public records, Archer is accused of attempting to strike her ex-fiancé with her vehicle but hit the ex-fiancé and his son’s cars instead.

In July 2013, the Pinal County Attorney’s Office filed a four count indictment against Archer.  She faces one count of aggravated assault with a deadly or dangerous instrument, a class 3 dangerous felony; two counts of criminal damage with allegations of domestic violence, class 6 felonies; and one count of leaving the scene of an accident, a class 2 misdemeanor.

Pinal County Attorney Lando Voyles released the following statement, “Justice must be found for victims of domestic violence and the cycle of domestic violence must end.”

A final status review hearing is scheduled for November 5, 2013.  Archer is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
