Pinal County Attorney Kent Volkmer Recognizes Officers for Dedicated Service

Florence, AZ (04/05/2017) Monday April 3, 2017 Pinal County Attorney Kent Volkmer addressed officers nominated for their dedication of going above and beyond for victims of crime. In his opening remarks, Volkmer said “last year, Pinal County served 5,447 victims and provided 17,884 unique services to victims. We are here tonight at the start of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week to honor each of you for your excellent service, and we hope to establish a tradition of recognizing those in law enforcement that go above and beyond for victims of crime. You are the front line responders to victims of crime, and we are grateful for your excellent service to the community.”

The award ceremony took place at the Coolidge Elk’s Lodge with local police agencies including Apache Junction, Case Grande, Coolidge, Eloy, Florence, Maricopa, Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, and Tohono O’odham Nation.
