National Crime Victims’ Rights Week in Pinal County

FLORENCE, AZ (3/21/14) – Pinal County Attorney Lando Voyles proudly sponsors events occurring during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week in Pinal County and thanks victims’ rights advocates for their work.  This year, the National Crime Victims’ Rights Week will take place from Sunday, April 6 through Saturday, April 12.

“Our nation created and recognized National Crime Victims’ Rights Week over 30 years ago and it continues to represent a time when victims and their families remember their loved ones, celebrate becoming survivors, and surround themselves with other victims, survivors and members in the community who care and support safe neighborhoods,” Pinal County Attorney Lando Voyles stated.  “I thank the agencies and organizations involved with planning these important events and proudly work with them on a daily basis as we work to promote victim’s rights in Pinal and Arizona.”

Organized by the United States Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crimes since 1981, National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is held each April and recognizes and honors victims and victims’ rights advocates around the country.
