All animals going to this event have been at the shelter over 60 days, we are hoping to find them forever homes before the holiday season ends.

Important Changes to the Shelter Operating Hours:

For the month of February the shelter will be open Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. closed on Saturday.

Donations

Donations such as food, blankets, collars & leashes, carriers etc. are all accepted. We also accept monetary donations to help support our spay & neuter voucher program. This program is partially funded by a grant received from the Arizona Spay & Neuter License Plate Committee.

 Important Changes to the Outreach License Clinics:

Starting in May the Maricopa License Clinic will be held on Tuesdays at the City Hall from 11 AM to 1 PM instead of Wednesdays.

Starting in June the Apache Junction License Clinic will be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month instead of every Thursday.

To purchase a license you may visit one of our outreach clinics:

• Apache Junction - Every 2nd and 4th Thursday except Holidays from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Roy Hudson County Complex on Idaho Rd.
• City of Maricopa - Every Tuesday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Maricopa City Offices.
• Oracle - Every Wednesday except Holidays from 8:00 AM- 10:00 AM at San Manuel Animal Shelter 27390 S. Reddington Rd . (Veteran's Memorial Hwy)
• San Tan Valley - Every Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Copper Basin YMCA  

You must have a copy of a current rabies vaccination certificate from a licensed veterinarian in order to obtain a license.

We invite all prospective volunteers to come to our shelter to learn more about our volunteer program. Everyone will receive volunteer packets, applications and training information.
