The Pinal County Assessors Office took a lead role in the development of Pinal County’s GIS. The collaborative effort of several County departments began in mid 1999. The project is based on an extensive network of survey control points which all county townships, sections, and parcels are aligned. This base map of parcel data is linked with roads, taxing authorities and other related mapping information.

The ultimate goal of the project to create a one stop source of data and mapping information for County departments and better serve the residents of Pinal County is now available at
