Pinal County GIS recently launched two new public facing interactive map viewers (descriptions and links below). These viewers were developed based on feedback received and usage trends from previous interactive viewers and are intended to present information as efficiently as possible to the largest consumer groups. More purpose specific viewers are either being planned or developed to present even more information. Check back here for new announcements on new interactive mapping services or visit the Pinal County Online Services Portal (under Search For….) to see all online GIS mapping services available.
General Interactive GIS Map
As the name implies this viewer allows users to search for basic (general) property information. Users can search or browse the map and retrieve property information maintained by the Pinal County Assessor and GIS. Once the property is located users can view and/or print a property report or map and link to the Assessor website for additional information. Users that are not familiar with interactive mapping viewers we have provided some How To’s to get you started.
Interactive Zoning GIS Maps
This viewer contains all the same functionality of the General Viewer but contains many more datasets related to the development community. Users can search or browse the map and retrieve information such as Zoning designation, Comprehensive Plan designation and FEMA Flood Zone. Users can view and/or print a property report or map and link to additional information. Users that are not familiar with interactive mapping viewers can visit our How To’s to get started .
As always we welcome feedback from users. One of the driving forces for enhancements and viewer development is user needs. You can submit feedback or suggests by sending an email to the GIS Group .
