If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, you may have noticed that your 3M Cloud Library app had an update waiting for you in the App Store. This update brought a great new feature to you: email notifications for your 3M Cloud Library eBook holds.

After you've updated, the first time you place a hold on a title a pop-up appears asking if you’d like to receive email hold notifications. You will be prompted to enter your email address and then a message will be sent to your email account from ls-softwaresupport@mmm.com for verification purposes – so be sure to follow the instructions in that email.

When your hold is available, you will receive an email with the book title and a reminder that you have only three days to check the book out. You can then head to your 3M Cloud Library app and check out the book you've been patiently waiting to read!

You can change your mind any time and opt-in or opt-out of the email notification service by heading to your Account Profile found in the My Books tab of the 3M app.
