Betty Peterson

Betty Peterson received BS at Wayne State University(1972) MA in Education at Mercy College both in Detroit, Mi. 2009 Adjunct Professor at Central Arizona College teaching required reading courses. Betty served on the Model Neighborhoods Project and the Career Opportunities Program in Detroit. As a consultant at Science Research Associates, Peterson demonstrated behavior modification methods and programmed reading in many Detroit schools. Betty's focus on the community allowed her to be at the center of action committees and groups to improve Detroit neighborhoods through association with local schools. Hobbies include reading and traveling. Volunteer activities include board member Against Abuse, Inc., reading to children in local schools, organizing local senior communities for fun events and American Cancer Foundation.
