Pinal County continues to receive inquiries about additional recycling that the citizen would like to participate in. Though our recycling center is currently not capable of handling the various recycleables, we would like to provide you additional information that may be helpful to you. We would like to express our appreciation in the public interest in recycling and encourage you to share your comments and suggestions with us.
Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC) is a non-profit organization which promotes recycling of portable rechargeable batteries and old cell phones. Rechargeable batteries are commonly found in cordless power tools, cellular and cordless phones, laptop computers, camcorders, digital cameras, and remote control toys. RBRC recycles the following battery chemistries: Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium Ion (Li-ion) and Small Sealed Lead* (Pb).
