Any instrument presented for recording in the State of Arizona must satisfy the
following conditions pursuant to (ARS 11-480):
Heading or Title -- Each instrument shall have a heading or title briefly
stating the nature of the instrument. The County Recorder shall have no obligation
to index any instrument under any subject category unless that category is included
in the heading or title of the instrument. Additional charges will be made for each
indexing category.
Legibility -- Each instrument shall be an original, or a certified copy of
the original, and shall be sufficiently legible for the Recorder to make certified
copies.
Signatures -- Each instrument shall have original signatures, or carbon copies
of such signatures, except when otherwise provided by law.
Any instrument changing, correcting, assigning, or in any way referring to a previously
recorded instrument, must state the date of recordation and the docket and page
number of the original instrument. Additional charge will be made for multiple transactions.
