Dear Sheriff Babeu,

We want to thank you for you and your department’s participation in the Mountainbrook Village meeting/dinner presented by the Mountainbrook Village Safety Committee on March 5, 2009. This is a 55-plus community and the residents are very safety conscious, and interested in what you are doing to make your department better and more efficient.

Your talk and participation was very much appreciated by the people in attendance. They were also impressed that you were out in the audience and were talking with them personally, not standing at the podium. We thought our Village Board and Manager were impressed by your attendance and presentation.

I also want to thank you for the officers you brought with you. I feel it is important to meet the people who are working to make Pinal County a better place to live.

We look forward to having you and your deputies here again. We did miss three of your staff, Lieutenant Brown, Sergeant Wallace and Corporal Ogaard.
