FLORENCE, Ariz. – The Pinal County Sheriffs Office is set to present the newly rounded air fleet to members of the media.

What: The 1976 Piper Super Cub which was obtained from Border Patrol through a state surplus transfer and 1990 MD 500E helicopter recently purchased with money provided by Gov. Jan Brewer and the State Legislature to help aid in Search & Rescue missions as well as combat human and drug smuggling will be on display tomorrow in Gold Canyon.
When: Thursday, Jan 26th at 2:00 p.m.
Where: Desert area off E Peralta Road - Gold Canyon
(Take US 60 East to the Peralta Road exit. Head east on E Peralta Road just past the school where the pavements turns into a dirt road.
Who: Sheriff Paul Babeu as well as the PCSO pilots and members from Search & Rescue.
There will be press kit at this event with b-roll from inside the helicopter during a recent mission in the Vekol Valley area. Media will have a chance to see the aircrafts up close and ask any questions relating to the new air unit.
