Region D has first responder responsibilities for the central and northern portions of Pinal County. This includes the communities of Florence, Coolidge, Superior, north to Apache Junction and Gold Canyon . The deputies enjoy an excellent working relationship with agencies base in the Valley such as Gilbert PD, Mesa PD, Department of Public Saftey and the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.  Region C see the largest winter population booms of all regions and call volumes tend to peak from November through March.
