The Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit lost grant funding in Sept of 2009. One of the deputies assigned to the unit has been transferred to the Traffic unit and still works, part time, enforcing federal commercial vehicle regulations under the supervision of Sgt. Matt Thomas.
