The Property and Evidence Unit is responsible for safeguarding all property and evidence submitted, however we are not responsible for Inmate property or its release. The Property and Evidence Unit team consists of (1) Supervisor and (6) Evidence Technicians. Their daily tasks include accepting property/evidence, towing seized vehicles, data entry, assisting citizens with questions or concerns regarding property/evidence, collecting statistical information, releasing property/evidence to citizens, inventory control, coordinating auction sales, and disposal of property/evidence.
Property and Evidence is released by appointment only to ensure items are eligible for release, all documentation has been received to release the property, and to ensure citizens are serviced in a timely manner. Appointment may be scheduled by calling the Property and Evidence Unit 520-866-5290.
Office hours as Monday-Thursday 0800-1630 hours and our normal release days are Tuesdays and Thursday.
