2018 Important Dates for Voters
November 6: General Election
Last Day to Register to Vote – October 9 (Tuesday)
Military & Overseas Registered Voters ballots will be mailed – September 22 (Saturday)
Early ballots are mailed to the Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL) & absentee voters; early in-person voting begins at the 3 Recorder’s Office locations – October 10 (Wednesday)
What could be on the Ballot?
November 6 (General Election) - traditional election with polling places and early voting
All voters receive the same ballot for a given precinct part – all candidates from all parties that won in the primary are listed.
Federal offices: U.S. Senate and U.S. Representative for Congressional Districts 1, 3, and 4
Legislative offices: State Senate (1 seat) and House (2 seats) for Legislative Districts 4, 7, 8, 11, 12, and 16
Statewide offices: Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, State Treasurer, Superintendent of Public Instruction, State Mine Inspector, Corporation Commissioner
County offices: Clerk of the Superior Court, Justices of the Peace and Constables
Cities/Towns: Runoff election for city/town council members
School Districts: Governing board candidates
Special Taxing Districts: Governing board candidates
Retention of Judges: Arizona Supreme Court and Pinal County Superior Court
Propositions: Statewide and local ballot measures
