Date: 7/2/2014

FLORENCE - The Pinal County Public Works Department is alerting drivers in the Queen Creek area of an improvement project taking place on Ocotillo Road between 214th Place and Rittenhouse Road. This project is being done by the Town of Queen Creek and Union Pacific Rail Road.

The improvement work will mean that section of Ocotillo Road will be closed from Monday, July 7 to Sunday, July 13.

The work being carried out will provide two additional travel lanes, bike lanes and a sidewalk. Union Pacific crews will be working on the track as well as signal improvements.

Traffic will be allowed to access businesses and homes in the areas, but crossing the rail road track will not be permitted.
