ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL: Big Weekend Ahead Date: 9/14/2016 | Will be at Casa Grande PetSmart Friday and Saturday-Reduced Adoption Prices
FLORENCE – Looking over a list of available dogs and cats at the Pinal County Shelter, Animal Care and Control Director Audra Michael says the kennels are packed.
“We are full,” she sighed, “we are very full.”
Currently there are nearly 280 animals at the Animal Care and Control Shelter located at 1150 South Eleven Mile Corner Road just east of Casa Grande.
This month, the shelter will be lowering adoption prices of any dog or cat that is over one year of age.
The adoption price of a dog over the age of one year has been reduced to $50.00, down from the normal $140.00. The price of a cat over the age of one year will be $25.00, down from the normal price of $65.00.
Staff members for Animal Care and Control will be on hand with adoptable animals this Friday and Saturday, September 16 and 17, at the PetSmart in Casa Grande, 986 North Mission Parkway (located in the Promenade Mall).
The Pinal County Animal Care and Control Shelter is open M, T, Th and F 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday’s 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday’s 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
