Town of Queen Creek - Portion of Combs Road Closed
Information from the Town of Queen Creek - Combs Road will be closed between the new Rittenhouse alignment and Meridian Road June 3rd - July 8th. During the closure, the roadway will be widened and railroad improvement conducted. Riggs Road will be open to Ellsworth Road starting on June 3rd.
 
 
SRP Utility Work Combs Rd
Utility work will begin on Combs Road east of Gantzel Road on Friday, June 28th.  Work will cause the closure of one westbound travel lane.  Please use caution while driving through work zones.   
 
Ocotillo Road Project - Ironwood Dr to Kenworthy Rd
UPDATE:  Temporary closure at Ocotillo Road from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for roadway construction on May 15th.  Residents are asked to use Kenworthy Road as an alternate route during hours of construction.  Detour signage will be provided.  Please drive with caution.
 
Roadway rehabilitation project will begin on Ocotillo Road between Ironwood Drive and Kenworthy Road on March 18th. Work on the existing 3-lane road is expected to last through the end of July 2019. Project will include lane restrictions and speed reductions.  Please use caution while driving through the work zone and plan for extra drive time due to expected traffic delays.
 
 
Pavement Perservation - Houser Road
Fog seal treatment on Houser Road from Edgedale Road to Brady Pump Road on June 27th.  Work will include a flagging operation.  Striping work on June 29th.  Drive with caution.
 
Pavement Perservation - Eleven Mile Corner
Chip seal treatment on Eleven Mile Corner Road from Arica Road to Cornman Road and portion of road north of Selma highway.  Work will take place on June 25th and 26th.  Fog seal treatment to follow on June 27th and 28th.  Striping work will take place on June 29th.  Message boards will be posted.  Work will include a pilot car operation, may want to use alternate routes if possible.  Please drive with caution. 
 
Waterline work - McCartney Road
Arizona Water Company will be installing a new waterline along McCartney Road from I-10 to Weaver Road beginning Monday, June 3rd.  The majority of work will be on the shoulder, however there may be instances where traffic will be affected.  Work may last through September.  Please drive with caution.
 
Pavement Perservation - Rancho Bella Vista South Phase I & II
Crack seal work will be throughout the area and plans to be completed by the end of the month.  Be mindful of workers and equipment. 
 
City of Mesa - Utility Gas Work on Skyline Drive
The City of Mesa will be doing utility gas work on Skyline Drive between Hunt Highway and Gantzel Road starting the week of June 17th. The project is estimated to last through the end of the year and will include lane closures and flagging. Please be mindful of all traffic signage and drive with caution. Additional information will be provided when available.

Town of Florence - Summer Road Projects
The Town of Florence will be doing a few road projects this June.  Arizona Farms Road will have an overlay asphalt treatment on June 4th through the 7th.  Felix Road from Arizona Farms to Heritage Road will have a microseal treatment on June 10th through the 12th and also from Hunt Highway to the railroad tracks on June 3rd through the 8th.  Microseal work will take place on Hunt Highway from Franklin Road about a half mile south of American Way.

Combs Road
Eastbound and westbound lane closures between Meridian Road and Warrior Way for pavement striping work.  December 7th - 30th: 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

 ‭(Hidden)‬ Information from Town of Queen Creek


Riggs Road to be Completed by Town of Queen Creek and Maricopa County Department of Transportation
The Town of Queen Creek is working in partnership with MCDOT to complete Riggs Road from Ellsworth Road to Meridian Road.  The new, two-lane roadway will serve as a major access point for the south east portion of Town, and will help improve transportation throughout Queen Creek.
