NOTE: Due to the nature of construction activities, schedules are subject to change without prior notice.  We advise all motorists to be mindful of all posted signage, traffic control devices, flaggers and construction crews.

Asphalt Patch Work on Baseline Road
Asphalt work will take place on February 25th on Baseline Road.  Location of work will be just east of the Meridian Road intersection and will include a speed reduction and flagging operation that will require intermittent lane closures.  Please allow for extra drive time and drive with caution.
 
Utility Work - Ocotillo Road
SRP utility work will begin January 6th on a portion of road on Ocotillo Rd and Schnepf Road. Section of Ocotillo Road will be from Kenworthy Road to Schnepf Road. Section of Schepf Road will be from Ocotillo Road to Combs. Work will last through the end of March and will include intermittent speed reductions, lans shifts and possible traffic stoppages. Please plan for extra travel time and drive with caution.
 
Developer Roadwork - Pima Road
Work will begin on Pima Rd east of Ironwood Rd beginning January 6, 2020 and continue through the end of March.  Work will include a speed reduction and intermittent traffic shifts.  Please plan for extra travel time and drive with caution.
 
Pavement Preservation Work in Arizona City
Work will begin on February 10th and anticipates to last through the 28th. A contractor will conduct slurry seal on various streets in Arizona City. Due to possible restrictions on scheduled roads you may want to plan for extra drive time. Please drive with caution.
 
Utility Work - Golf Club Drive
Utility work at the intersection of Golf Club Drive and Johnson Ranch Blvd will take place on February 21st.  Plan for delays due to intermittent lane closures.  Please drive with caution.
 
Preservation Work on Copper Mine Road

Pavement preservation work will take place on Copper Mine Road from Hunt Highway to Prospector Lane.  Project will start with profile work on February 18th and 19th.  Crack seal work to follow on February 20th and 21st. Project will end with mirco seal work starting February 24th and lasting through February 28th which will also include a section of road of Tourmaline Drive from Copper Mine Road to end of subdivision. Work will include a flagging operation. Expect possible delays. Plan for extra travel time and drive with caution.

 
Utility Work - Johnson Ranch Blvd
Continued utility Work on Johnson Ranch Boulevard west of Hunt Hwy will take place on February 26th from approximately 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Expect some traffic delays due to flagging operation. Plan for extra travel time and drive with caution.
 
Utility Work - Empire Blvd
Development related utility work will begin January 16th on Empire Blvd between Gary Rd and Ellsworth Rd. The work is expected to continue thru end of February. Please plan for extra travel time and drive with caution.

Combs Road
Eastbound and westbound lane closures between Meridian Road and Warrior Way for pavement striping work.  December 7th - 30th: 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

 ‭(Hidden)‬ Information from Town of Queen Creek


Riggs Road to be Completed by Town of Queen Creek and Maricopa County Department of Transportation
The Town of Queen Creek is working in partnership with MCDOT to complete Riggs Road from Ellsworth Road to Meridian Road.  The new, two-lane roadway will serve as a major access point for the south east portion of Town, and will help improve transportation throughout Queen Creek.
