Utility Work at Intersection of Gantzel Road and Chandler Heights Road
Utility work will take place throughout the day of February 27th at the intersection of Gantzel Rd and Chandler Heights Rd.  Work will include a speed reduction and lane closure for northbound travel. Please use caution when driving through work zone.
Utility Work on Ocotillo Road
On February 4th through March 1st utility work will take place on Ocotillo Road between Ironwood Road and Kenworthy Road and will include intermittent lane closures. Please use caution while driving through work zone.
Quartzite Road Closure Due to Hunt Highway Phase 4 Construction

Quartzite Road will be closed for construction with no access to or from Hunt Highway, scheduled to begin Friday, February 15th and last through March 25th.

In addition, crews are working to construct a box culvert under Copper Mine Road. This work is taking place one-half the road at a time so that one lane of traffic in each direction can be maintained on Copper Mine Road.

As a reminder, speeds have been reduced through the work zone (25 mph) for the safety of nearby residents, travelers, and construction crews. Please obey traffic signage as it is placed for your safety. Business and resident access is being maintained, and we thank you for your continued patience during this construction.

Magma Road Construction at Hunt Highway to Begin January
Construction on Magma Road at Hunt Highway intersection will begin the first week of January.  Hunt Highway will remain open.  However, there will be no access to Magma Road. Johnson Ranch and Superstition Views residents will need to use Johnson Ranch Boulevard to access Hunt Highway. Work is expected to take 2 months to complete.  Please use caution and be mindful of traffic control.

Combs Road
Eastbound and westbound lane closures between Meridian Road and Warrior Way for pavement striping work.  December 7th - 30th: 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

 ‭(Hidden)‬ Information from Town of Queen Creek

Riggs Road to be Completed by Town of Queen Creek and Maricopa County Department of Transportation
The Town of Queen Creek is working in partnership with MCDOT to complete Riggs Road from Ellsworth Road to Meridian Road.  The new, two-lane roadway will serve as a major access point for the south east portion of Town, and will help improve transportation throughout Queen Creek.
