Letter from Lorenzo Teruya
Date: 7/8/2009

Sheriff Paul,

First of all, I hope all is well. Secondly, as of this morning (6/30/09) at approximately 0130 hours, deputies from Region A rang my front door bell. My parents and I woke up to see who was at the door. When we opened the door, we saw several deputies in the driveway of my 42 with their flashlights.

In the driveway of my 42 were two quads that were abandoned. One of them wrecked into a plant in my front yard. Deputies asked if we were Code 4 and if we saw or heard anything. We assured the deputies that everything was Code 4. They searched around the perimeter to see if they could find any suspects.

The two abandoned quads were stolen and the suspects were able to elude deputies. However, deputies seized the quads and hopefully they can be returned to their rightful owner. I am pleased to say that the deputies that handled this situation were VERY kind and professional. I thought that you should know of your well-trained and professional deputies that work in Region A during the graveyard shift.

Thank you for listening and again, I hope all is well.

Take Care,

Be Safe,
