Letter From Yester Year Events Committee
Date: 4/25/2014
On behalf of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley, Yester Year Events Committee, a friend and fundraising arm for the Apache Junction Branch, I would sincerely like to thank you and Pinal County Sheriff's Office for the sponsorship you provided for our 2014 Yester Year Event fundraiser held on April 12, 2014.  Thanks to your generous sponsorship, we were able to raise awareness of our local Club and the many advantages it brings to our community, its children and their parents.
Thanks to our partnership Yester Years fundraising drive, we were able to attract as many as 400 new friends interested in becoming involved in our Boys and Girls Club.  The event raised over $64,500 with $54,600 to return to the Club for its operations budget which directly benefits the Club's 600+ members.  Of this over $8,800 were raised in scholarships for Summer Camp attendance and we are continuing to receive pledges for this wonderful program, since the event.
This event would not have been a success without the generous support you have provided us throughout 2014.  We deeply appreciate the willingness with which you have and continue to sponsor our efforts to make our town a healthier, happier place for our children, young adults and their parents.  We sincerely hope that this association will be maintained and that you will continue to support the continued efforts of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley, Apache Junction Branch.
For over 16 years, the Yester Year Events has been synonymous with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley, Apache Junction Branch.  We are proud to say that this has been one of our best years yet!  The partnership of a tireless volunteer event team and generous sponsors truly made this year's event spectacular for our guests who also gave generously to the children.
It is our sincere hope that you will join us again in 2015 when we create an even bigger and better event in support of the boys and girls and the families in our community.
