PINAL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SEIZES 388 POUNDS OF MARIJUANA

On Friday March 24th the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office seized 388 pounds of Marijuana from inside an SUV.

Members of the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Smuggling Unit attempted to pull over the SUV after the driver failed to stop at a stop sign. The driver took off at a high rate of speed. The suspect’s vehicle did eventually come to a stop near State Route 84 and Candlestick Road after spike strips were deployed.

The three people inside took off running, but were eventually arrested. Bails of marijuana were found inside the SUV.
