A 31-year-old man from Cocoa, Florida, was arrested after he agreed to meet with undercover investigators. Lee Trikojat thought he was meeting with a 13-year old girl when he was taken into custody.

The investigation into Trikojat was launched after he reached out to a Pinal County Detective in an online chat room for kids. Our detective, who was posing as a 14-year-old girl, had several conversations with the suspect. Their age difference was discussed several times and Trikojat asked our undercover detective to keep their relationship a secret.

Our detective contacted investigators in Florida who also established an online relationship with the suspect. Trikojat knowingly engaged in multiple conversations with that undercover investigator who was posing as a 13-year-old girl. He also sent sexually inappropriate pictures of himself the detective. A meeting was set up and Trikojat was taken into custody.

“Being a father, it angers me that there are people out there that want to manipulate and harm our children. No matter where they are, I’m proud our investigators are able to work with agencies across the nation to get these people off the streets.” Said Sheriff Mark Lamb.

Trijojat is charged with using a computer to solicit a child and transmitting harmful images to minors.
