Records & Field Patrol Clerical Support Unit

Pinal County Records DepartmentThe Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Records Unit serves as the central repository for all police reports and related records. Request for other public information within the Department are also processed through the Records Unit. Records also provide statistical information for various local organizations within Pinal County, and also provide monthly data to the FBI for publication of “Crime In the US”. The Records Unit consist of seven (7) support staff of one (1) Records Supervisor’s, two (2) Lead Shift Supervisor’s, four (4) Admin Clerk II’s. Duties are split between staff and shift to further assist and expedite service. Depending o the nature of the incident and if the case is currently under investigation, all request are processed within 5 to 7 business working days.

  • To obtain a copy of a police report

    We accept only money or cashier checks, credit cards, no cash accepted, monies must be received prior to distribution.

  • All request must be in writing and cannot be requested over the phone.
  • You may report in person to the Records Unit located at the Administration building or to any of the Sheriff’s Substations.
  • Victims of a criminal offense receive one (1) free copy of report (this includes video/audio/photos), in which they are listed as the victim.  ARS13-4401.19 defines victim as person against whom the criminal offense has been committed, including a minor, or if the person was killed or incapacitated, the person’s spouse, parent, child or other lawful representative, except of the person is in custody for the offense or is accused.   
  • When communicating with our office, please have available the report/case number, date and location of incident, and names of all parties involved.

    $7.50  reports (up to page 25, $.50 per additional page)

    $5.00  Statistical request (please provide 48 hour courtesy notice)

    $15.00  CD of 911/Audio/Video

    $15.00  CD of photos

    $5.00  Fingerprints  (Monday through Friday only/8am-4pm)

    $5.00  Clearance letter (Visa/backgrounds)

     

    Accident reports:  The Pinal County Sheriff’s Officer has partnered with DOCVIEW, LLC to provide our collision reports online for the convenience and secure access.  You must have the case number, or the date of collision,  and a valid credit card to access your report for download at www.docview.us.com

    Sex Offender Registration  (Fingerprinting is done at the jail, therefore Detention requires a dress code: no shorts, tank tops, flip-flops)
