Supervisor Cheryl Chase has called Pinal County her home for nearly 4 decades. She began her career serving others as an industrial nurse (LPN), nursing instructor and emergency medical technician in the Kearny-Hayden mining communities. Cheryl also spent eight very fulfilling years on her local school board.

Her concern for people continued as she served three productive terms in our Arizona House of Representatives from 2001 through 2007. Cheryl’s most notable pieces of legislation revolved around securing $3 million dollars for a Regional Fire Training Center and a Firing Range, both constructed on the Signal Peak Campus of Central Arizona College. She was key to a significant amount of Healthy Forest legislation as well. A crusader against government waste, Cheryl supported and voted for reduction in income and property taxes time and time again in her role as a legislator. In 2006, Chase supported and voted to reduce income and property taxes by $750 million dollars – the largest tax in Arizona history.

Once more, she answered the call to public service in 2013 when District Two elected Cheryl Chase to be their voice on the Board of Supervisors here in Pinal County. She is committed to transparency and accountability in government – and to the sustained growth of this wonderful place we call home.

As the Supervisor of the most rapidly growing District in Pinal, she continues to look for ways to reduce government spending and to reduce the tax burden on citizens and to ensure growth is managed and substantive.

With each new fiscal year, Cheryl Chase renews her pledge to remain true to the goals of every fiscal conservative – to hold all county departments and offices accountable to the taxpayer – and to reduce wasteful spending in every way possible.
