The Facilities Management Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance management of county facilities including the design and construction of newly approve CIP projects. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, clean, safe and functioning work environment for governmental services in an energy efficient and cost effective manner. Currently, there are (105) building structures located in various districts of the county with a combined total of 1,161,000 gross square feet. The department responds to an average of 25,000 work request annually.

Services We Provide
Maintenance and Support Services:
Responsible for maintaining and repairing county owned or lease facilities by providing the following skilled trade services:
  • Carpentry
  • Electrical
  • HVAC maintenance and repair
  • Painting
  • Landscape and ground maintenance
  • General services, department move, office furniture assembly/relocations
  • Preventive Maintenance
  • Oversight of Contracted Maintenance Services for standby generators,
     elevators, fire alarms, security monitoring and pest control.

Custodial Services:
Responsible for the daily cleaning and sanitation of county owned or lease facilities by providing the following services:
  • Daily general housekeeping / cleaning
  • Floor maintenance services
  • Emergency clean ups

Project Management Services:
Responsible for planning, designing and construction of major capital improvement projects:
  • Provide feasibility concept and cost for construction projects
  • Project management and oversight
  • Construction contract administration
  • Facility inspections
