Pinal County Animal Care and Control currently still need citizens wishing to surrender an animal for euthanasia or just relinquishing their pet need to make an appointment.
Citizens that find strays we ask that you hold the animal for 24 hours and try to find the owner, but will also need to make an appointment before bringing it to the shelter.
Both Apache Junction and Florence One Stop License Clinics are still closed. If you cannot license your pet online we are allowing citizens to come to our facility and purchase a license without an appointment.
Other services such as Animal Protection Officers are running all calls for service, we are allowing people to walk our kennels with an appointment, and we are requesting meet and greets by appointment as well. Our hours are still 10-5 Monday through Friday and 10-4 on Saturday.
We are taking precautions and offering citizens masks to wear in our facility and hand sanitizer to use but having your own is encouraged. Thank you for your patience.
