"Pets for Vets" program. In recognition and appreciation of U.S. veterans' service to our country, PCACC’s Pets for Vets program waives adoption fees for pets over 1 year of age for veterans. Adopters participating in the Pets and Vets program will be responsible for paying the $15 license fee for adopted dogs (there is no fee for cats). Veterans wishing to participate in the Pets and Vets program are asked to provide verification of veteran, reservist or active duty status. We will accept the following verification documents: Military ID, DD214 Military Discharge Certificate, Honorable Discharge Certificate, Letter for the U.S. Military Center in St. Louis or Letter from the Maryland Veterans Administration Service Program.

$17 out of the $25 collected is distributed to state agencies to help reduce the pet population in the state.

Licensing Your Dog Just Got More Convenient

FLORENCE, AZ – Pinal County Animal Care & Control announces that dog licenses may be obtained at four locations around the county. Customer service representatives in three of Pinal County’s One Stop service centers are now able to take pet licensure applications. There are One Stop locations for pet licenses in Florence, Apache Junction and Oracle.

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00AM to 5:00 PM; Monday and Wednesday 8:00AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday 10:00AM to 4:00PM.

Licensing fees vary depending if the animal is spayed/neutered or unaltered. There is a discount for senior citizens who own dogs. You must bring a current rabies vaccination certificate from a licensed veterinarian that is good for at least one year.
