Chief Deputy Assessor

Hector Madrid
The Appraisal Division values residential and commercial improvements (buildings) within Pinal County.  They process appeals regarding valuation and they represent the Assessor's Office at Board of Equalization hearings.  They also value golf courses within the county.

Business Personal Property
Malina Botkin
The Business Personal Property Division manages the valuation of property defined as "all property other than real property". These type of assets are used to operate a business, farm or ranch. A Personal Property appraisal in Arizona covers many different property types; mobile homes, farm and ranch equipment, industrial, commercial and office equipment, artwork, and cable television and security systems are just a few of the property types subject to property taxation.

Ray Nixon
The CAMA Division performs mass appraisal valuation based on data generated by the Appraisal Division as well as sales trends from the Affidavit of Property Value.  They also handle sales of assessor parcel data files.

Customer Service
Annette Ortiz
The Customer Service/Transfer Division accepts and processes applications for Exemptions , Senior Freeze , and Change of Address .  The department also transfers title once a deed has been recorded with the Recorder's Office.

Benny Gonzales
The Land/Agricultural Division manages the valuation of land within the county and oversees the agricultural designation of property.

Amber Marroquin

The Litigation Division defends assessor valuations in tax court and small claims court.

Monica Gutierrez
The Cartography Division The creates GIS based parcel maps for property within the county. They assign new parcel numbers and manage the tax area codes. Parcel splits and combinations are also processed by this division.
