City of Eloy Reaches Agreement with Pinal County for Animal Care and Control Services

ELOY- Starting October 1, 2020, Pinal County will provide animal care and control services within the corporate limits of Eloy. At this time, services and operations will move to Pinal County Animal Control Shelter at 1150 S. Eleven Mile Corner. The shelter is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

 During regular business hours, citizens should contact Pinal County Animal Care and Control at (520) 509-3555 or at [email protected] For emergency calls after regular business hours, weekends and holidays, citizens should contact the Eloy Police Department at (520) 466-7324.

The County will assign one animal control officer to the Eloy city limits, who will have access to Eloy’s animal shelter facility on an as needed basis. County employees patrolling and servicing Eloy will always wear a Pinal County uniform.

The County will be responsible for issuing animal licenses to City residents. Animal license fees for altered animals will remain at $5.00 per animal until next October 2021, at which time they will increase to $15.00 per animal. License fees for unaltered animals will increase to $30.00 immediately.

We are excited to announce that Pinal County Animal Care and Control will be holding its first Vaccination Clinic in Eloy on October 17, 2020 at Main Street Park from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. They will be offering free microchip for each pet and a free rabies vaccine with the purchase of a license – Altered $5.00 (City of Eloy residents only); $15.00 for County residents; and $30.00 for Unaltered animals.
