Pavement Preservation Work in Sections of Gold Canyon

Holbrook Asphalt has recently done prep work for an upcoming pavement preservation surface treatment in the Gold Canyon area. The overall pavement work will take a course of a week, starting Tuesday, September 29th and lasting through Tuesday, October 6th. The work will require a 24-hour full road closure in segments. Holbrook Asphalt will be providing residents with a notice and map 2-3 business days prior to work.

Roadwork - Hunt Highway
Roadwork at the intersection of Hunt Hwy and Gantzel Rd will start September 28th and is expected to last thru October 2nd.  Work will include a speed reduction, lane closure for northbound Hunt Hwy and westbound Gantzel Rd.  Please drive with caution and plan for extra time due to possible delays.
Roadwork - Schnepf Road
Development related roadwork will begin September 16th on Schnepf Rd south of Combs Rd.  Work will include a speed reduction and temporary lane shifts for both directions through October 2nd.  Please drive with caution and plan for extra travel time due to possible delays
Road Work - Johnson Ranch Blvd

PW Contractor roundabout work will begin August 17th at the Johnson Ranch Blvd and Golf Club Drive intersection. Work includes narrowed lanes, closure of the south side of Johnson Ranch Blvd, and is expected to last through November. Detour signage will be provided. Drive with caution and plan for extra travel time.

 ‭(Hidden)‬ Roadwork Outside County Limits

Combs Road
Eastbound and westbound lane closures between Meridian Road and Warrior Way for pavement striping work.  December 7th - 30th: 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

 ‭(Hidden)‬ Information from Town of Queen Creek

Riggs Road to be Completed by Town of Queen Creek and Maricopa County Department of Transportation
The Town of Queen Creek is working in partnership with MCDOT to complete Riggs Road from Ellsworth Road to Meridian Road.  The new, two-lane roadway will serve as a major access point for the south east portion of Town, and will help improve transportation throughout Queen Creek.
