Johnson Ranch Blvd Roundabout Construction Phase 3
Next Phase of Johnson Ranch Blvd Roundabout
The area of work will now rotate counterclockwise to the northwest corner of the roundabout starting November 9th and approximately lasting through the first week of December.
To ensure operations can continue to run adequately, a temporary traffic signal will be added on Johnson Ranch Blvd. The temporary traffic signals placed in this work zone are a critical component to ensure the safety of all motorists.
Please drive with caution, obey all temporary traffic signals, be mindful of all traffic control equipment, and allow for extra travel time during your commute. Thank you for your patience as we continue with these improvements. Please view the map for details.
 
 
 
Town of Queen Creek installing Water Line on Chandler Heights Rd
Town of Queen Creek will be installing a new water line on Chandler Heights Road starting November 2nd. The work will be done in two phases and plans to last through mid-December.
 
The first phase of work will cause a closure on Chandler Heights Road from Kennedy Drive to Taylor Street. There will be no access to Chandler Heights from Kennedy Drive, alternate routes will be Taylor Street or Via De Palmas.
 
The second phase of work will cause a closure on Chandler Heights Road from west of Taylor Street to Gantzel Road. There will be no access to Chandler Heights Road from Taylor Street or Prince Avenue, alternate routes will be Kennedy Street or Marilyn Way. Please drive with caution and plan for extra travel time due to possible delays.
 
Gary Road Widening Project
Widening construction will start November 9, 2020, on Gary Rd between Empire Rd and Combs Rd. Turning the 2-lane road into a 5-lane road will cause the project to last about eight months, aiming to complete July 2021. Work will cause some possible delays due to speed reductions and lane restrictions. Please plan for extra travel time and drive with caution.

Combs Road
Eastbound and westbound lane closures between Meridian Road and Warrior Way for pavement striping work.  December 7th - 30th: 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

 ‭(Hidden)‬ Information from Town of Queen Creek


Riggs Road to be Completed by Town of Queen Creek and Maricopa County Department of Transportation
The Town of Queen Creek is working in partnership with MCDOT to complete Riggs Road from Ellsworth Road to Meridian Road.  The new, two-lane roadway will serve as a major access point for the south east portion of Town, and will help improve transportation throughout Queen Creek.
