Matthew Hedrick - Deputy Chief

Matt Hedrick Is an 18 year veteran of law enforcement, serving with both the Salt River and San Carlos Tribal police departments. Chief Hedrick served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, SWAT, Sergeant, and in a specialized Ranger Unit.  He is recognized as a National Gang expert and has made notable arrests of organized criminal syndicates.  Chief Hedrick was a certified teacher with Mesa Public Schools and a Varsity Coach for Salt River High School after creating their Athletic Department.  Chief Hedrick has been engaged in the community in volunteer positions and served for two years as missionary to South Chicago.  Chief Hedrick provides extraordinary leadership and coaching skill which will benefit the employees and inmates alike.
