$21.4 BOND FOR MAN WANTED FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST CHILDREN Posted: 11/25/2019 12:00 AM | The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 41-year-old Michael Russell, wanted out of California for sex crimes against children. Russell was found the morning of Saturday, November 23 in San Tan Valley near Combs and Gantzel Roads. He was wanted for a host of sexual offenses against three children, the abuse beginning when his victims were between the ages of six and eight years old. His crimes took place over an eight year period, between 1992 and 2000, all happening in Pittsburg, California. Russell is now being held on a $21.4M bond, a number almost unheard of, saved for the worst offenders. "A big thanks to the California detectives who spent months working to track him down, and to our team for working quickly to get this man off the streets and into custody," said Sheriff Mark Lamb. PCSO is hopeful his arrest will bring some closure to his victims. | |
