K-9 UNITS INTERCEPT CONCENTRATED MARIJUANA PRODUCTS Posted: 2/6/2020 12:00 AM | On 2/6/20, one of PCSO's K-9 units intercepted a vehicle on the I-10 near Eloy that was attempting to traffic concentrated marijuana products. The driver, 20-year-old Alexis Gonzales claimed he was traveling from California to Texas. Inside the rental car he was driving, our deputy found 991 THC vape cartridges and THC wax containers. This amount of concentrated marijuana is illegal, no matter what state you're in. "Loads like this can also lead to violent crime, with drug dealers ripping each other off. That puts a burden on our resources, and innocent people can get caught in the middle," said Sheriff Mark Lamb. "We're proud of Deputy Ken Nardelli and K-9 Nico for stopping this smuggling attempt."
