PCSO RECEIVES GRANT SUPPORT FROM GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF HIGHWAY SAFETY Posted: 2/2/2021 12:00 AM | The Pinal County Regional DUI Task Force had another busy holiday season in 2020, with 110 DUI arrests. Drug impairment accounted for 70% of those arrests. The average BAC on the alcohol arrests was .206. These numbers reflect an overall increase from 2019 Holiday DUI Task Force results. To help PCSO continue its efforts, our office has been awarded a generous amount of grant funding from the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety, totaling $210,000. That money will go to assist deputies in their speed and DUI enforcement efforts. "Our success keeping Pinal County roads safe would not be what they are without support from our partners at GOHS," said Sheriff Mark Lamb. "Their partnership has undoubtedly saved lives."
