Records & Field Patrol Clerical Support Unit

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Records Unit serves as the central repository for all police reports and related records. Request for other public information within the Department are also processed through the Records Unit. Records also provide statistical information for various local organizations within Pinal County, and also provide monthly data to the FBI for publication of “Crime In the US”. Depending on the nature of the incident and whether or not it is under investigation, most request are processed within 5 to 7 business working days.

    Beginning October 15, 2014 - In an effort to better assist members of the public and media regarding official public records available by law, PCSO is now using a service offered by Govhelper at the following link: 

    Requests received via email and by fax will be entered into FOIAView for processing.  All requests are subject to a convenience fee imposed by FOIAView.

    You may still visit a substation or the Sheriff's Office in person to obtain a copy of a report.  PCSO hopes by adding this link, the community will be able to request reports from home, creating more convenience. 

    For over the counter transactions, we accept money orders and cashier checks.  There is also an option to pay with a credit card using (limited fee of $2.00).  We do not accept cash.

    Any citizen may request to view public records in person at no cost.  Please contact our Records Department at [email protected] or 520-866-5193 to schedule an appointment.  This will ensure that the records will be prepared for viewing. 

    Accident reports:

    Accident Reports are available online. You must have the case number or date of collision and a valid credit cart to access your report for download at

    *Traffic accident reports resulting in fatal or serious injuries will not be available online. Accident reports relating to a criminal offense such as a DUI will not be available online. These reports must be requested through FOIAView: 

    Victims of a criminal offense receive one (1) free copy of report (this includes video/audio/photos), in which they are listed as the victim.  Please contact [email protected] to request copy. 

    According to ARS13-4401.19 "Victim" means a person against whom the criminal offense has been committed, including a minor, or if the person is killed or incapacitated, the person's spouse, parent, child, grandparent or sibling, any other person related to the person by consanguinity or affinity to the second degree or any other lawful representative of the person, except if the person or the person's spouse, parent, child, grandparent, sibling, other person related to the person by consanguinity or affinity to the second degree or other lawful representative is in custody for an offense or is the accused.

    $7.50  reports (up to page 25, $.50 per additional page)

    Sex Offender Registration  ( Fingerprinting is done at the jail, therefore Detention requires a dress code: no shorts, tank tops, flip-flops )
