Residential/Commercial open burning permits are no longer being issued (annual agricultural open burning permits will be issued through April 30th).
The open burning ban will be in effect May 1, 2021.
Please Note: No open burning is allowed within the Town of Florence. Therefore no open burning permits will be issued within the Town of Florence.
County One-Stop permit offices in Apache Junction and Casa Grande remain closed, therefore, the Department recommends the use of the online permit system to apply for a permit.
Annual Agricultural Open Burning Permits may be obtained:
1. In-person at the *NEW* Development Services Building, 85 N Florence St, Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM.
Permits will be issued by appointment only. Customers must call the Development Services One-Stop office at (520) 866-6442 to schedule an appointment.
2. In-person at the Mammoth office, 118 Catalina St. Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
3. Online. Customers can apply 24 hours 7 days a week, however permits are only issued Monday–Friday from 8:00–4:30 and many take up to 48 hours to process. Online Permits can be attained at: https://citizenaccess.pinalcountyaz.gov/CitizenAccess/Default.aspx
Burn permits are not approved if:
The application is received by fax or email.
Prohibited materials are requested in the application.
The application is incomplete.
