Citizen Memoirs
"The challenge to renovate the 1891 Second Pinal County Courthouse into a vibrant, useful facility will require determination, conviction and a sense of obligation to future generations."
  ~ Swan Architects, Inc.
"When I was 5, I tagged along with my mother on an errand that took her into the courthouse. As soon as we walked in, I saw that fabulous split staircase and I was forever hooked."
  ~ Ernie Feliz
"My 1st impression of this magnificent building was in 1998 when I had to come into Florence to get our building permit. It was love at first sight. Since then, I have had the opportunity to help with the historic tours of the courthouse. I dress in 1890s clothing every year. The public loves it!"
  ~ Cheri
"Each year I take my daughter to the Florence Light Parade, and that is followed up with the lighting of the old couorthouse. It is a legacy moment between my daughter and I. With this restoration she can share the same event with her children someday. "
  ~ Mark
"I highly recommend going on your own personal walking/driving tour of historic Florence. Many 100-year-old buildings lovingly preserved and documented by the city historical society. Gotta love that court house. "
