What is an Agenda?
An agenda is a list of activities and topics in the order in which the Board of Supervisors will address them. It begins with the Pledge of Allegiance and Prayer Invocation and ends with the Adjournment. Although the Call to Public allows citizens to address concerns outside of the Agenda, topics outside of the Agenda will not be decided by the Board until they are properly added to a future Agenda.
What are Minutes?
Minutes are official notes taken during a Board Session that accurately summarize topics discussed and record the results of decision made concerning those items. Minutes do not include every word stated in a Session, but only the most important details discussed and the result of those conversations. These details include the description of an agenda item, important comments made by officials and the public, and the results of the votes taken on the item.
Regular meetings of the Board of Supervisors meetings are held on selected Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. Please see quarterly schedule under the 'Hot Topics' section of the Home Page.
