Pinal County Workforce Development Board

The Pinal County Workforce Development Board (PCWDB), appointed by the Pinal County Board of Supervisors and certified by the Workforce Arizona Council (State Workforce Board) is charged with providing strategic guidance and direction for federal, state and local workforce development funds and programs.  The PCWDB oversees the [email protected] Pinal County network of public and private partners, to coordinate a cohesive strategy for talent development within the county.

The PCWDB By-Laws can be found Here

Membership on the PCWDB requires a majority of community business leaders, with the balance consisting of apprenticeship, post-secondary education, federal workforce programs, and economic development representatives.  Currently, the board meets monthly with meetings ranging from 1-2 hours.

As a member representing the business community, key criteria require the representative to be an owner, chief executive officer, chief operating officer, or other individual with optimum policymaking or hiring authority and provide high-quality, work-relevant training and development opportunities to its workforce or the workforce of others.  Members of the business community serve a term of two years which is renewable.

Individuals interested in applying for membership can read more by visiting the [email protected] Pinal County website or by submitting an application here.  Any questions can be submitted to Joel Millman, Director, [email protected] Pinal County at [email protected]
